This statistic presents an opportunity to enhance health and well-being in the very environment where one spends the majority of their time. The health research team behind ENCOURAGE aims to support individuals in making incremental changes at work, promoting increased energy levels, better cardiovascular health, and improved overall lifestyle.

A sustainable approach to long-term health transcends simple reminders for physical activity or nutrition. ENCOURAGE employs evidence-based behaviour change strategies designed to effectively reduce sedentary time during the workday. Research has demonstrated that decreasing idle periods—distinct from merely increasing exercise—can lead to:
